Ministries
Denali Center Ministry
The Denali Center Ministry is an exciting and powerful way to worship with pioneers, seniors and those with special needs. Since they cannot come to the Church we have taken the Church to them every 3rd Sunday at 4:00 pm. The young people of St. John have performed praise dances and different members help us lead the old traditional Gospel songs as well as teach new songs. We also give a short Gospel message or Bible study during the visit. They have told us our services brings them great joy. If you would like to participate or just help let us know.

Sunday School
We prayerfully strive in the Church to build a spiritual foundation through Sunday School and to show the love of Christ to all; while evangelizing the lost, teaching and discipling through the Word of God while we study to show ourselves approved. 2 Timothy 2:15

Woman's Missionary Union (WMU):
Women on Mission is a mission organization for women whereby we pray, give to missions, perform mission work, learn and teach about missions. The objective is to provide a means for every woman to discover and fulfill God's plan for her life. The purpose of all Women on Missions activities is for every person in the world to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the message of the gospel. In the church, we have age groups at all levels (senior women, younger women, Acteens - 11th & 12th grades, Girls-in-Action through the 6th grade, Mission Friends - preschoolers). These groups encompass the Woman's Missionary Union. We are laborers together with God. 1 Corinthians 3:9

Prayer Ministry (Prayer Band):
The Prayer Ministry entails reaching out to all Christians, coming together asking, seeking, and knocking. God's power is released through the prayers of Christians. Intercession is the most powerful work we can do, praying in Jesus' name, in faith and humility. "Again, I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 18:19 Jesus is our example in prayer.
